For our existing customer, a distribution network operator from Bavaria, we are looking for a Support Engineer for broadband and network technologies (m/f/d) for 01.02.2026 as part of a temporary employment contract.
Here you will be responsible for the remote fault clearance and commissioning of intelligent network stations as well as LTE/DSL and powerline devices throughout Germany. You will support the on-site teams by telephone, document all processes in the ticket system and ensure the stable operation of critical infrastructures.

Your tasks
10. Remote fault clearance of intelligent local network stations (LTE/DSL routers) and broadband powerline devices from all over Germany
11. Telephone support for Field Services during on-site commissioning and fault clearance of intelligent local network stations (LTE/DSL routers) and broadband powerline devices from all over Germany
12. Documentation of fault clearance processes in the ticket system
13. Working with geo-information systems when troubleshooting broadband powerline devices
14. Maintaining and monitoring alarm lists and creating faults in the ticket system
15. Carrying out system tests and documenting the results
16. Maintaining the network documentation
Your profile
17. Completed further training as a master craftsman/technician in the field of communications engineering/computer science or a comparable qualification
18. Experience in remote troubleshooting of network technologies (e.g. iONS, routers, powerline devices)
19. Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS)
20. Experience with database systems and documentation and ticket systems
21. Experience in the configuration of routers and switches at CLI level (especially with Cisco devices)
22. Experience in the operation of transport network and IP components
23. Willingness to carry out a security review in accordance with the Security Review Act (SÜG) due to working in a KRITIS (critical infrastructure)
24. Business fluent in written and spoken German
