The following tasks may be part of your responsibilities:
* Product Analysis: Detailed analysis of products, risks, and loss histories to determine risk-adjusted pricing.
* Offer Preparation: Creating and negotiating technical offers for new business and contract renewals.
* Collaboration: Working with marketing and legal departments to review insurance policies.
* Loss Development: Monitoring loss development and initiating measures to optimize the loss ratio.
* Business Support: Supporting the sales team in acquiring new business and extending existing contracts.
To succeed in this role, you should bring the following qualifications:
* A bachelor's or master's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, law, or a related field.
* Practical experience in the insurance or financial sector, preferably in underwriting, sales, administration, or finance.
* Strong numeracy and data affinity, as well as comprehensive Excel skills.
* Experience working with legal documents, particularly insurance policies.
* A high level of initiative, performance orientation, and teamwork ability are essential.
* Fluent German and English language skills.
