As the Software Architect of innovation Vehicle Control (m/f/d) you will drive new Software technology-concepts for “Software defined Vehicle” related to new EE Architectures in combination with cloud Architectures, frameworks and related products.
Your new responsabilities:
1. Develop Architecture of advanced software concepts mainly based on Middleware for advanced Microprocessor technology
2. Design and Implementation and Prototype of new software architectures based on AUTOSAR Adaptive and alternative
3. Estimation of technology trends in electronic controls portfolio cross products
4. Elicit requirements (from customers, internal stakeholders)
5. Contribute to “proof of concept” in closed alignment between innovation and Engineering teams and to SDV Software Associations and industry cooperations
6. Elaboration of technical analysis report and presenting to expert communities as well customers.
7. Reporting to Head of System Design and Architecture Vehicle Controls located In the Innovation department of division electrification solutions.
Your profile:
8. University degree in a relevant field (computer science, electronics and telecommunication, informatics), master’s degree desired
9. Long Term experience in Automotive Software technology and experience in international Software projects with global OEM’s.
10. Several years road experience with AUTOSAR Adaptive and Communication Protocols such as SomeIP and DDS and experience with POSIX-Based Operating Systems (, Linux), memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization.
11. Strong knowledge of C++ features and best practices and initial knowledge of SOA principles and their application in automotive systems
12. Awareness of safety-critical systems and safety standards (, ISO 26262).
13. Market knowledge of automotive software technology and innovative, likes driving pioneering Ideas in cross disciplines collaboration Projects and collaborate in networks internally and externally and drive partnership with customers, associations, Software suppliers and universities.
