GEA AHEAD stands for “AI for Human Empowerment, Automation & Digitalization” and is GEA’s global transformation program for leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all units.
As Head of AI Enablement (f/m/d) within the GEA AHEAD Program, you will play a central role in enabling GEA’s organization to adopt, scale, and responsibly use Artificial Intelligence. You will act as the driving force behind AI capability building, use‑case enablement, and cross-functional alignment across business and IT.
Your Key Responsibilities:
· Lead AI Enablement as a core responsibility within the GEA AHEAD Program Management Office
· Build and drive a structured approach to AI capability development across GEA (awareness, skills, use-case maturity, adoption) and make sure that every colleague in GEA can use AI
· Enable divisions and business functions to identify, shape, and mature AI use cases, from idea to implementation readiness
· Act as a central connector between divisions, business functions, GEA Digital and Enterprise IT
· Support the definition and rollout of AI guidelines, guardrails, and best practices, aligned with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
· Design and facilitate AI learning and engagement formats (e.g. workshops, AI days, communities of practice, internal networks)
· Contribute to change management and communication, fostering trust, transparency, and responsible AI usage
· Monitor AI trends and regulatory developments and translate them into clear implications and recommendations for GEA
· Represent AI enablement topics towards senior stakeholders and steering bodies within the AHEAD program
Your Profile / Qualifications
· Several years of experience in digital transformation, innovation, strategy, enablement, or comparable roles within a complex organization
· Solid understanding of AI concepts and data-driven solutions, combined with a good grasp of enterprise environments
· Strong ability to structure ambiguous topics, create clarity, and enable others to move from strategy to execution
· Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across business and divisions
· Experience working in cross-functional, international settings
· Pragmatic, impact-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
· Fluent business English; German is a plus
· Willingness to travel up to 20%
