Scientific Laboratory Technician (m/f) - CDD - 1 year
Located in Bissen / Luxembourg
Your responsibilities would include:
* Performing laboratory tests to generate reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations by sampling, testing, measuring
* Carrying out routine tasks and analyses accurately and following given methodologies
* Preparing specimens and samples
* Recording and interpreting results to present to colleagues
* Performing mathematical calculations for the preparation of graphs
* Following and ensuring safety procedures and safety checks
* Staying up-to-date with technical developments in order to improve processes
You would need to meet the following requirements:
* An educational background as laboratory technician, BTS, Bac+2 or equivalent in chemistry, physics, or material sciences
* Ability to maintain and calibrate technical equipment
* Ability to learn specific, practical techniques and to apply this knowledge to solve technical problems
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Good organizational and coordination skills
* Flexibility, team-spirit and effective communication skills
* Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory, German and/or French are considered as an asset
