Product Director
Dusseldorf (3 days onsite) - relocations possible.
We’re partnering with an international B2B2C platform business undergoing significant digital transformation and product investment. With an established customer base, strong market presence, and increasing focus on modern digital experiences, the business is looking to hire a Product Director to lead a strategically important product area.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who can operate comfortably in complexity, bring strong product judgement, and help shape product strategy, execution, and team effectiveness at scale.
What you’ll do
* Own strategy and direction for a major product domain
* Lead and develop product managers within a complex product environment
* Work closely with engineering, design, data, commercial, and senior leadership teams
* Translate customer, market, and business needs into clear product priorities
* Drive execution across interconnected products, platforms, and customer journeys
* Balance long-term strategic thinking with strong delivery and operational focus
* Help strengthen product ways of working across the wider organisation
What they’re looking for
* Significant product leadership experience in a scaled technology or digital business
* Experience leading product teams (5+ PMs) at Director level or equivalent scope
* Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to go deep when needed
* Track record of working in complex environments involving platforms, transactions, multi-sided ecosystems, or operationally rich products
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to align senior cross-functional leaders
* Clear customer focus, commercial awareness, and strong sense of ownership
* Comfortable operating across international teams and matrixed organisations
