What would be your key responsibilities
1. Development, preparation, and optimization of sales forecasts and planning for the EMEA region
2. Management of the sales pipeline and execution of project controlling (sales expectations, early warning system, project success measurement)
3. Responsibility for portfolio and marketing controlling (gains & losses, portfolio size, product categorization, market shares)
4. Execution of analysis projects regarding the profitability of customers, products, and regions, including preparation of results and derivation of recommendations for action for departments and management
5. Conducting customer segmentation and managing service level performance
6. Preparation, interpretation, and presentation of ad-hoc analyses
7. Creation of Power BI dashboards for senior management
8. Development and delivery of training sessions for the sales organization regarding the reporting landscape
9. Identification and implementation of process improvements
10. Close collaboration with Sales, IT, Operations, and Controlling departments
What will make you successful
11. Degree in economics or a comparable qualification
12. At least 2 years of professional experience in Controlling/Finance/Consulting or a similar position
13. Previous experience in Power BI
14. Quick understanding of business processes and organizational structures
15. Strong analytical skills and high affinity for numbers
16. Negotiation skills and assertiveness
17. Fluent in English and German (business level)
18. Solid MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
19. SAP knowledge (BW/CO/DP) is an advantage
