Tasks
What you'll be responsible for:
* Leading, motivating & developing a high-performing sales team
* Fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, & self-organization
* Hiring & onboarding top sales talent
* Defining & executing regional sales strategies and activity plans
* Setting clear goals & conducting regular performance reviews
* Building efficient team structures
* Strong internal communication
* Growing & managing key client relationships at decision-maker level
* Driving new business & market expansion opportunities
* Leading contract negotiations & overseeing bids and tenders
* Supporting & coaching the team in client-facing negotiations
* Ensuring compliance with sales processes and tools
* Acting as project sponsor for key client initiatives & implementation projects
* Monitoring pricing, market trends & competitive developments

Requirements
You lead with confidence, build strong client relationships & spot opportunities where others see challenges. With your strategic mindset & deep industry knowledge, you will drive growth & inspire your team.
What you bring with you:
* Degree in aviation, business administration or in a relevant field
* At least 3 years of experience in leading teams, preferably in sales area
* Working experience in/with MEA region
* Professional experience in sales, account management or comparable positions
* Proven negotiation skills and client management experience
* Solid understanding of airline business processes
* Strong leadership & team development skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities
* Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset
* Fluent in English and good German skills; another MEA region related language is a plus
* High level of initiative, resilience and flexibility
* Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
* Ability to drive decisions & mediate conflict
* Experience in working effectively with diverse teams, stakeholders and functions
