As a developer, adding a couple of charts to your online platform is easy. Scaling analytics to tens of thousands of end-users, who all have differing data needs and data questions, is a hard problem. Embeddable gives you the infrastructure and tools to rapidly build out your interactive in-product analytics in days, not months, and empowers your team to iterate on your analytics at the pace your customers need. Our 3 core user personas are: Front-end (React.js) developers using our SDK to build beautifully interactive analytical experiences. Data teams building (SQL-based) data models for powering their single-source-of-truth. End users (typically non-technical) who are interacting with the analytical experiences and building out their own custom dashboards in our customers’ platforms. …and it’s our goal to make sure all of them have delightful user experiences! We’re doubling down on developer marketing—and you’ll be the first person fully focused on developer relations at Embeddable. We’re looking for someone who can bring both strategic clarity and hands-on execution to building our presence within the developer ecosystem. You’ll have the opportunity to build a DevRel function from the ground up, with ownership, autonomy, and a real seat at the table. Our product is already in the hands of developers who love using it, and now we want to give them a community and conversation that matches that energy. You'll shape how we show up in the world—from hosting meetups and hackathons, to publishing developer-first content, to speaking at conferences and creating meaningful touchpoints that engage and inspire. Our growth team needs a technical voice—and you’ll be it. You’ll be joining a smart, thoughtful team that values momentum and impact over bureaucracy. The magic you’ll perform Help us to define our developer relations strategy and initiatives roadmap Own and deliver in the initiatives we decide to pursue. This might include things like: Create technical content (blog posts, videos, demos, sample apps, tutorials) that inspires and supports developers Represent Embeddable at conferences, meetups, podcasts, and online communities Champion the developer experience across all touchpoints—from onboarding to implementation to community engagement Build authentic relationships with developers, customers, and contributors Develop programs to encourage and recognise external contributions (e.g. open source, content, community advocacy) Organise events, meetups, hackathons to engage and bring the community together Act as a technical partner to marketing, product, and engineering Track and analyse DevRel efforts as a growth channel to demonstrate impact ♂️ What you already have Hard Skills: Proven experience in a Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or similar technical community-building role A strong technical background—comfortable reading and writing code (especially React), working with APIs, and building with dev tools Demonstrated ability to build and grow a developer community Comfortable being the first and only DevRel hire (for now), with an eye toward building the foundation for a future team Soft Skills: Strategic thinker with a bias for action—you know how to start small, measure what matters, and scale what works A natural communicator and storyteller who loves engaging with developers online and in person ✨ A bias for action — you like to ship things, learn, and iterate You focus on impact over output Detail-oriented, with a high bar for quality and consistency An open communicator — you share your wins and losses, and you’re open with feedback (given and received) You’re effective working remotely, independently, and asynchronously Bonus points if you have • Experience in B2B SaaS or developer-focused startups • Familiarity with embedded analytics, headless tools, or frontend frameworks • A track record of technical writing, public speaking, or open source contributions Why you’ll love it here • You’ll have the opportunity to build a DevRel function from the ground up • You’ll work with a product that developers already use and love • You’ll have ownership, autonomy, and a seat at the table • You’ll join a smart, thoughtful team that values impact and momentum Interview Process Recruiter Screen Hiring Manager Interview Take-Home Assignment Deep-Dive Interview Executive Interview with Co-founder What you’ll get from us Fully remote working Opportunity to work with a growing international ( !) team - we’re currently a 20 person team with plans to scale significantly in the near future!
