Senior Planner – Data Centre Project (Germany)
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a major data centre project in Germany. This is a full-time, permanent position offering hybrid working and the opportunity to play a key role across the full project life cycle of a high-profile, technically complex development.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules covering the full project life cycle, from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover
* Lead planning activities using Primavera P6, ensuring schedules are accurate, robust, and aligned with project objectives
* Monitor project progress and produce regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders
* Support the preparation, assessment, and organisation of claims, including delay analysis and schedule impact assessments
* Work closely with project managers, commercial teams, and site teams to identify risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies
* Provide schedule analysis, forecasts, and recovery plans where required
* Ensure planning standards, procedures, and best practices are consistently applied
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior Planner on large, complex construction projects, ideally within data centres, mission-critical, or similar environments
* Demonstrated experience managing schedules across the entire project life cycle
* Strong background in progress reporting and claims support
* Advanced user of Primavera P6
* Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
Desirable
* German language skills (beneficial but not essential)
* Experience working on projects in Germany or Europe
