About the LCSB Research Centre

The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine conducts fundamental and translational research in Systems Biology and Biomedicine - from lab to clinic and beyond.
We're especially interested in neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, and their contributing factors.

Your role will involve collaborating with research groups in Luxembourg within ELIXIR Luxembourg.
You'll plan and conduct training in the frame of ELIXIR Luxembourg.
* Consult and perform joint research with research groups in Luxembourg.
* Plan and conduct training sessions as part of ELIXIR Luxembourg.
* Strong experience in data analysis environments commonly used in bioinformatics and systems biology.
* Proficiency in either Python or R and good knowledge of data science environments.
* Familiarity with Unix environments.
* Strong working knowledge of training, including experience as an instructor for Carpentry courses, Elixir Train-the-Trainer courses, or as a teacher in university-level education.
* Laboratory experience in omics environments, such as sequencing, transcriptomics, or proteomics, is a plus.
* Familiarity with training environments and interdisciplinary communication and presentation skills are essential.
* Excellent working knowledge of English is required; proficiency in Luxembourgish, German, or French is a plus.
* A doctorate in statistics, data science, or systems biology, or closely related fields, ideally with two years of work experience.
* Alternatively, a Master's degree in one of these fields with three or more years of work experience.
