Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Data Center / Desktop Support Engineer with strong “hands and feet” support experience to provide onsite technical assistance for IT infrastructure, hardware, and end-user systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide onsite “hands and feet” support for Data Center operations and Desktop Support activities.
* Install, troubleshoot, and replace hardware components including servers, desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and network devices.
* Perform rack and stack activities, cable management, patching, labeling, and basic connectivity checks.
* Support server reboot, hardware diagnostics, and physical equipment inspection in the Data Center.
* Coordinate with remote technical teams for incident resolution and infrastructure maintenance.
* Handle OS installation, software configuration, user account support, and peripheral setup.
* Monitor tickets and ensure timely resolution as per SLA requirements.
* Maintain asset inventory and update documentation for hardware movements and changes.
* Provide support for Microsoft Windows environment, Office 365, VPN, and basic networking issues.
* Assist in IMAC activities (Install, Move, Add, Change) for IT equipment.
Required Skills
* Experience in Data Center support or Desktop Support role.
* Good knowledge of Windows OS, hardware troubleshooting, and basic networking concepts.
* Hands-on experience with rack & stack, cabling, and remote hands support.
* Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
* Understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, printers, and end-user device support.
* Ability to work in shifts and provide onsite support when required.
* Strong communication and coordination skills.
