Logistics Manager (m/f/d) Ardagh Glass Packaging – Germany Job Description The Logistics Manager is a member of our German Management Team and reports to the Logistics Director Europe. The purpose of this role is to manage all customer deliveries at the lowest costs possible at the agreed customer requirements, national and international and steer an efficient use of internal and external warehouses in our 7 German glass plants. Responsibilities Drive freight costs as low as possible at the required quality and safety level. Optimizing delivery performance and cost levels. Strong focus on haulier management to grow long-term performance and reduce the total number of carriers used. Ensure an efficient use of all plant warehouses and external warehouses. Ensure right logistic equipment and efficient use of logistic equipment in the German plants. In conjunction with manufacturing logistics and the haulier supply base, work to maximise FTL deployment. Ensure continuous improvement on logistic complaints, managing customer experience and cost impact. Demonstrate a leading role in the Ardagh core values, behaviours, policies and procedures.
