VDM Metals, a leading global company for nickel alloys and special steels, is looking for young talent to join our team as Trainee in Process Technology.

Responsibilities
* Monitoring, controlling and regulating production processes and equipment in the non-ferrous metal industry and steel production.
* Handling production protocols and production flow plans.
* Recording and evaluating production data and process control presentations.
* Identifying and taking measures to eliminate disturbances in the production process.
* Maintenance of machines and equipment during production changes and re-starts.
* Carrying out quality assurance measures.
* Securing, storing and transporting materials, operational supplies and production goods.

Ausbildungsinhalt & Ausbildungsablauf:
The first year of training starts at the SIHK Training Centre in Hemer with a basic course on metal where manual skills, working with machine tools and insights into welding, control and regulation technology are introduced.
From the second year of training onwards, the training takes place on site, where specialized content is conveyed by our experts and trainees are prepared for the final exam.
The training lasts 3.5 years and takes place in Unna and Werdohl (non-ferrous metal processing).
