Position Head of Tax (m/f/d) - Stolberg / Hybrid
At the Prym Group you will report directly to the Group CFO and enjoy the autonomy and trust to bring in your expertise, ideas and strategies for the Tax function globally and advise Business Unit Heads whilst leading and developing your own small team.
Your Role in More Detail Join us as our new Head of Tax and drive our international tax strategy. You’ll ensure compliance, lead audits (especially in Transfer Pricing), and advise senior leaders on tax implications across all operations. From optimizing tax planning and incentives to managing reporting, documentation, and team development—you’ll be at the heart of it all.
What you’ll do Lead tax compliance and audits across global jurisdictions
Own Transfer Pricing strategy and documentation
Advise on tax risks, incentives, and planning opportunities
Oversee tax accounting, reporting, and provisions
Coach and grow a small, high-performing tax team
Be our voice with tax authorities and external advisors
Your Profile Certified German Tax Advisor (Steuerberater); bonus points for additional training in International Tax (Fachberater Internationales Steuerrecht)
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
10+ years of hands-on tax experience—ideally in a multinational company or top-tier accounting firm
In-depth knowledge of German and international tax law, especially corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and withholding tax
Strong skills in tax planning, compliance, risk management and OECD guidelines
Confident in tax accounting and reporting, including provisions, deferred taxes, and ETR
A natural leader with integrity, professionalism, and a high level of discretion
Excellent communicator in both English and German
Tech-savvy, with solid experience in MS Office and SAP
