For our client we are currently looking for a Network Specialist– Data Center / Routing & Switching (m/f/d) - Heidelberg.
Your tasks
1. Operation and further development of data center network infrastructure
2. Configuration and administration of routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VRF, STP)
3. Management and optimization of WAN technologies (IPSec VPN, MPLS)
4. Operation and maintenance of firewall solutions (e.g. Fortinet, Check Point)
5. Support and handling of load balancing systems (F5)
6. Monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting of network incidents
7. Ensuring high availability within a 24/7 support model
8. Collaboration with internal teams and external service providers
9. Shift model: Early/Late shift (07:00–19:00 CET) + on-call duty
