What does the job entail? We are looking for a Junior Banker for our Corporate Client Coverage Team in Frankfurt. About the job: About the role General support to Senior Bankers to develop and execute the strategic agenda for BBVA Germany’s corporate client universe. Maintenance of internal reporting and client relationship measurement tools incl. transaction pipeline, client profitability calculations, credit exposures. Analyzing and tracking client relationship performance indicators. Close liaison with BBVA’s internal international network in Latam, Turkey, Asia, the US and Spain. Preparation of client meetings, organisation and monitoring of follow-up process. Preparation of proposals for Credit and Capital Allocation committees. Assuming co-responsibility for the Commercial Banking agenda with the designated client portfolio, in close coordination with the relevant product experts and developing client interaction under close supervision of the Senior Bankers. What are we looking for? Academic background University or similar title: Bachelor at minimum, Master (or equivalent) preferred. Professional experience Ideally, up to 2 years of experience in a comparable position with an international financial institution. Good knowledge of commercial and investment banking products. Languages English - fluent is a must; Spanish - fluent (ideally). German - basic knowledge is a must. IT Good experience in the use of Office applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint). Basic knowledge of tools such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Dealogic and others. Personal attributes Takes initiatives, works independently, is creative. Financially astute and attention to detail.
