The Rehab Program Director at Minden Medical Center plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of our rehabilitation facility, prioritizing both customer and employee satisfaction. This leader is responsible for directing the Rehabilitation Services Department and overseeing the Rehabilitation Unit, coordinating all departmental operations to promote performance improvement, quality assurance, as well as evaluating departmental performance versus budget, ensuring the unit remains within budget guidelines.
With a strong focus on accuracy, this position involves developing and implementing systems for timely patient charge entry. The Rehab Program Director maintains compliance with all relevant state, federal, and local regulations, fostering an environment of safety and excellence in patient care while driving innovative practices within the department.
What you need to be successful/Position qualifications:
To excel as the Rehab Program Director at Minden Medical Center, candidates must be a Louisiana Licensed LPN, RN, PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP, with at least two years of experience in the Rehab field and one year in healthcare management. Proficiency in various healthcare software and tools is necessary for efficient operations, as well as strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage departmental performance. A commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards is critical.
Additionally, candidates must obtain American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification within 90 days of hire, emphasizing the importance of safety and patient care excellence in this role.
