Your responsibilities
1. Advising HR Business Partners and other stakeholders on individual and collective labour law matters, including employment, social security and collective bargaining law
2. Providing legally sound assessments and translating complex legal issues into clear, practical and business‑oriented advice
3. Preparing briefings and legal opinions to support people policy topics and informed management decision‑making
4. Preparing and managing labour court proceedings
5. Advising on and steering restructuring measures from an labour law perspective
6. Reviewing, revising and drafting labour‑law‑related standard contracts, agreements and policies
7. Supporting group‑wide HR initiatives, programmes and projects with a labour law focus
8. Working closely with employee representative bodies and their committees at group level
9. Providing labour law advice on the use of external workforce, working time arrangements and occupational pension schemes
Your profile
10. Fully qualified lawyer with a strong focus on labour law and HR‑related matters
11. Initial relevant professional experience in employment and labour law, gained either in a law firm specialising in labour law or in an in‑house corporate environment
12. Sound knowledge of German co‑determination law
13. Strong project management skills, excellent planning and organisational abilities, and a strategic mindset
14. An independent, structured and solution‑oriented working style, combined with a strong service mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
15. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
16. Strong conflict resolution and mediation capabilities
17. Outstanding communication and networking skills, with strong negotiation and influencing abilities
18. Very good MS Office skills
19. Business‑fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
