We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator (m/f/d) - based in Germany (must have) to join our team and help us scale our IT infrastructure securely and efficiently. As an IT Administrator at Boardwise, you will be responsible for managing our IT systems with a strong focus on cloud security, endpoint management, and IT infrastructure. You will play a critical role in maintaining our remote-first environment, ensuring that all systems are secure, up-to-date, and optimized for performance. Activities Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimize Intune, Azure, M365, and other cloud-based tools Oversee endpoint management for both Mac and Windows devices Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and security policies Ensure system backups and monitor vulnerabilities to maintain a strong security posture Develop and maintain clear documentation for IT processes, systems, and infrastructure Provide proactive support for IT-related issues within a remote-first environment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and improve our security protocols Requirements Your profile: Based in Germany (must have) 5+ years of experience in IT Administration or Endpoint Management Proficiency with Intune, Azure, M365, and related tools Strong knowledge of DLP, MFA, backups, and vulnerability management Experience with both Mac and Windows environments Security-first mindset with a focus on protecting company data and infrastructure Experience working in a remote-first environment or with distributed teams Strong documentation skills and process orientation Fluent in English (required), German (preferred but not mandatory) What We're Looking For in You: A structured, proactive, and security-focused approach to IT administration Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion Clear communication skills, especially in remote environments Enthusiasm for shaping IT processes and contributing to a growing organization Application Process Our hiring process Short screening call (20 min) with People & Culture Technical interview (60 min) with our CTO Final culture fit chat (20 min) with a team member About the Company Unser Unternehmen wurde 2019 von einem Team bei Axel Springer gegründet, um das Vorstandsbüro zu digitalisieren, später entwickelte sich hieraus eine eigene Firma, die nun von einem erfahrenen Gründerteam mit extensiver Start-up Erfahrung geführt wird.
