As the core of every electronically controlled system, microchips have become indispensable in our daily lives – whether in smartphones, smart homes or smart factories. ZEISS is a technology leader in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With high‑precision lithography optics, photomask systems and process control solutions, ZEISS enables the production of ever smaller, more powerful and more energy‑efficient microchips, and thus plays a key role in shaping the age of micro- and nanoelectronics with its innovations.
The Shopfloor and Value Stream Management department (14 people) supports production by designing, continuously improving and safeguarding processes, data and organizational workflows. The Production Infrastructure Coordinator serves as the central point of contact for all topics related to production infrastructure, drives clarification of issues, coordinates all parties involved and ensures that disruptions, changes and alignments are resolved quickly, transparently and without unnecessary loops.

Coordinate installation, maintenance and repair activities for the production infrastructure in close collaboration with internal teams and external service providers.
Ensure that all infrastructure measures are planned and executed in a way that minimizes disruptions to ongoing manufacturing operations, and carefully coordinate the introduction of machines, materials and tools into the production areas.
Monitor and ensure cleanliness in the cleanrooms to provide optimal manufacturing conditions, and initiate appropriate corrective actions in case of deviations.
Oversee compliance with applicable cleanroom standards and quality requirements, conduct regular on‑site walkthroughs and document results in a traceable and structured way.
Manage access to production areas, including authorization control, onboarding and instruction of internal and external personnel, and training on cleanroom behavior and safety rules.
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, accompanying on‑site inspections and ensuring that defined actions are implemented.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders – from production and engineering to external service providers – using clear and audience‑appropriate communication. Business‑fluent German language skills (spoken and written) and good English skills at least at level B2.
