Thoughtworks is seeking to expand our Go-To-Market team in HCLS (Healthcare & Life Sciences) in Europe to support some of our fastest growing accounts in this industry.
Our Client Principals or Account Managers are responsible for the entire sales cycle (lead generation through proposal, contract negotiation and closure), client relationship management, account planning and growth, joint delivery governance, and project reviews.
Job responsibilities:
* Establish, build, and maintain long-term, value-based relationships with senior client stakeholders.
* Drive $8-10 million in revenue and bookings annually from accounts to meet or exceed profitability targets.
* Work on continuous margin improvement in sold and delivered margins.
* Understand industry context, customer problems, and define mutual value for all parties.
* Develop and execute key account plans and go-to-market strategies.
* Achieve revenue and profitability targets based on yearly goals.
* Collaborate closely with the account leadership team (including account tech director and account delivery director).
* Participate in go-to-market plan creation and refinement for your account and industry vertical (HCLS).
* Report account activity and opportunity status to the HCLS leadership (Portfolio Director Europe).
* Regular onsite presence at client offices in Germany (Stuttgart, Berlin, Cologne) or Netherlands (Amsterdam) is required.
Job Qualifications
Technical Skills:
* Understanding of the HCLS industry, industry trends, drivers, and key players.
* Experience in executive revenue-generating roles with strong business acumen.
* Proven success managing senior client relationships and strategic partnerships across C-suite levels.
* Experience in consultative, solution-oriented client engagement.
* Thought leadership and innovation experience for clients.
* Ability to influence decisions by incorporating industry trends and client stories on innovation and digital disruption.
* Experience in agile (custom) software development project delivery, understanding technical project momentum and challenges.
* Bonus: familiarity with agile delivery best practices.
