Process Engineering Team Leader – Chemical Engineering / Hydrogen / CO₂ Separation / Fuel Cells / HAZOP / Thermodynamics / Process Equipment / Petrochemicals
Interested in using your Process / Chemical Engineering expertise to lead a team looking to solve the clean energy sector's most pressing problems?
If you're an experienced Chemical or Process Engineer looking to step into a senior role at the cutting edge of clean technology, this is your chance.
As Process Engineering Team Leader, you’ll report directly to the CTO to lead an established process engineering team, all while driving the development and optimisation of a highly advanced CO₂ separation system at the heart of a new hydrogen fuel cell platform.
What’s on offer?
* A senior, impact-driven role in a climate tech company with genuine scale-up momentum.
* The chance to work on patented fuel cell systems designed to replace legacy combustion engines - with real-world deployment already underway.
* Backed by major investment, the team has aggressive plans to deploy new plant infrastructure every week in 2025 - and you’ll be central to making that happen.
* A competitive compensation package, including equity, in a well-funded and fast-growing clean energy company.
The Role
* Lead a team of process engineers working on hydrogen plant design, CO₂ capture systems, and fuel cell integration.
* Guide technical development across areas such as thermodynamics, process equipment design, and HAZOP.
* Take a hands-on approach to system optimisation and contribute directly to process innovation and delivery.
* Collaborate across design, manufacturing, and R&D to translate engineering designs into operational, scalable hardware.
You’ll likely bring:
* Industry experience in Process or Chemical Engineering, ideally within hydrogen, CO₂ separation, fuel cells, petrochemicals, biogas, oil & gas, or renewable energy.
* Leadership experience — whether as a manager, team lead, or technical mentor.
* Strong understanding of chemical process development, plant engineering, and associated safety standards.
* Fluent English and German language skills (required for working with regulators and internal teams).
