Role Overview AMDT is looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to provide hands-on development and support for our Salesforce platform, with a focus on object and flow administration, handling tickets, user onboarding, and triaging issues. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of Salesforce administration/declarative development experience, including experience in Sales Cloud and in Salesforce CPQ. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to use available resources and collaborate effectively with senior team members when necessary. Your Tasks Address and Resolve Salesforce Issues: Proactively gather necessary details to resolve day-to-day Salesforce-related issues, ensuring solutions align with business needs, and escalate complex matters to senior team members when needed. Assist with Salesforce Configuration and Platform Administration: Perform configuration tasks as needed, including release management, managing permissions, user provisioning, updating layouts, creating fields, and building or updating flows to meet evolving business requirements. Maintain Salesforce Security Settings: Ensure security settings remain compliant with company policies and Salesforce best practices, actively monitoring for and addressing any potential security risks. Design required flows, actions and object interactions to support defined business needs, including CPQ calculations, contract handling, and automated opportunity flows Contribute to Process Overhauls and Updates: Support efforts to update and refine SOPs, processes, and standards as part of organizational improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot and Debug System Issues: Investigate and resolve user-reported issues, identifying root causes and making improvements to the system while performing necessary cleanups. Document Issue Resolutions and Develop SOPs: Maintain detailed documentation of solutions to common issues for use in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials. Assist with QA Testing: Collaborate with internal and external teams to conduct quality assurance testing, verifying the functionality and performance of developed components. Communicate Effectively with Stakeholders: Provide clear, concise updates and documentation to stakeholders at all levels through both written and verbal communication, fostering transparency and alignment. Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred. 3 years of experience in Salesforce administration with a focus on handling technical issues/tickets and system optimization. Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, particularly in security, Lightning, and architectural concepts as well as common Sales processes. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working efficiently within this framework. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently address and resolve common issues with little oversight/guidance while continually considering the org, best practice, and the needs of the business. Experience building reports, joined reports, and dashboards in a timely manner that address all requirements. Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to write clear and concise technical documents and test scripts. Solid understanding of Salesforce best practices, including security, data management, and workflow automation. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with tools like Jira for issue tracking and project management. A passion for the Salesforce ecosystem and learning, keeping up to date on Salesforce updates/releases and developments.
