We are seeking a Senior Model Developer to build and optimize our large-scale battery portfolios. This role will involve implementing mathematical models to support long-term flexibility value analysis and preparing business cases for investment decisions. The ideal candidate will develop, own, and maintain optimization algorithms across multiple market channels, ensuring optimal battery operation on energy and flexibility markets.
The successful applicant will have a university degree in energy economics, engineering, or natural sciences. They should possess passion for solving complex optimization problems with analytical thinking, accompanied by proven modeling skills in Python. Experience in short-term power markets in Europe is a plus, as well as relevant professional experience in energy trading, particularly optimizing batteries or other flexible assets. Excellent communication skills in English are required, with a good command of another European language seen as an asset.
