Overview
The Partner in Finance Transformation within the Financial Services business will lead strategic initiatives that will reshape the finance function for major banks, insurers, and asset managers. The role will be responsible for driving large-scale transformation programs, advising C-suite executives, and ensuring the consultancy will remain at the forefront of innovation in financial services.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
* Will define and execute the vision for Finance Transformation across the Financial Services sector in Germany.
* Will build and sustain client relationships at board and executive level, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor on finance strategy, digital transformation, and regulatory change.
Client Delivery
* Will oversee complex transformation programs, including finance operating model redesign, process optimization, and technology enablement (ERP, cloud, automation, AI).
* Will ensure delivery excellence, measurable outcomes, and sustainable impact for clients.
Business Development
* Will drive growth of the Finance Transformation practice by identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and securing new engagements.
* Will expand market share through thought leadership, networking, and industry presence.
Team Leadership
* Will build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams across Germany and internationally.
* Will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Market Insight
* Will stay ahead of emerging trends in finance, regulation, and technology within the Financial Services industry.
* Will translate insights into actionable strategies for clients and the firm.
Experience & Qualifications
* Will demonstrate a proven track record at Partner or senior leadership level within a Big 4 or equivalent consultancy.
* Will bring deep expertise in Finance Transformation, with a focus on Financial Services (banking, insurance, asset management).
* Will understand regulatory frameworks, digital finance technologies, and global market dynamics.
* Will lead multi-million-euro transformation programs and deliver measurable results.
* Will show strong business development skills, with a history of building long-term client relationships and generating significant revenue.
* Will inspire and manage diverse teams across geographies.
* Will speak fluent German and English.
