Program Manager Role
Large-scale initiatives require a high degree of complexity, with multiple interrelated projects requiring careful oversight to ensure alignment with business goals. Consistent communication across senior stakeholders is essential for delivering outcomes on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, schedule, resources, risk management, and communication strategies.
2. Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and deliverables.
3. Monitor program performance and ensure milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met.
4. Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities to team members.
5. Communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
6. Identify and resolve interdependencies, bottlenecks, and conflicts across projects.
7. Ensure adherence to IT governance, compliance, and best practices throughout the program lifecycle.
8. Drive stakeholder engagement and manage expectations throughout the program delivery.
9. Lead and mentor project managers and other team members involved in program delivery.
10. Manage vendor relationships and external consultants as needed.
11. Ensure complete, current, and stored project documents.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
* 10+ years of experience managing enterprise-level IT programs or business projects.
* Nearshoring or offshoring experience is a plus.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
* Certification in project management or change management.
