Job Description
* Lead strategic procurement projects within the assigned category, ensuring alignment with and high impact on team and business goals
* Manage stakeholder relationships across functions, including creating executive reporting and navigating organizational dynamics
* Demonstrate indirect leadership by influencing and guiding cross-functional teams and peers across the department to ensure alignment on strategic goals, and drive measurable outcomes that elevate organizational performance
* Undertake ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Head of Procurement, Team Leader, or Procurement Director
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of proven professional experience in sourcing, buying, and procurement (ideally in the e-commerce / omni-channel retail/consumer goods sector) in food / non food categories. International businesses, across multiple countries highly relevant.
* Exposure working in international teams versus national organizations
* Experience in strategic purchasing activities ( tendering, negotiation, strategy development)
* Supply market knowledge (e.g., market structure insights, screening capabilities) and supplier development capabilities
* Ideally, experience of working with an Asia sourcing office
* Strong communication and negotiation skills combined with interdisciplinary thinking
* Strong analytical mindset and experienced in dealing with key business figures
* Project management experience and capability to successfully work in cross-functional teams
