Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as a test Engineer (m/f/d) for an IT Backup & Storage Specialist at the location Manching.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operational responsibility for the Storage & Backup product in Germany, i.e. ensuring a stable and high-quality operation of these IT infrastructures based on ITIL principles
• Administration of the Storage & Backup infrastructure in accordance with defined KPIs and SLAs and support in the planning, development and implementation of new Storage & Backup infrastructure solutions
• Planning and adherence to costs within the area of responsibility (including continuous development and improvement)
• Technical support for root cause analysis and particularly in the event of incidents
• Execution of the highest-level administrative activities within the area of responsibility

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Systems Technician or a comparable qualification
• Several years of work experience in IT / Information Systems
• Experience in automation (e.g., Ansible) is desirable
• Experience with one or more of the following products is required: NetApp, VEEAM, NetBackup, Commvault, Data Protector, Data Domain
• Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies is required: STORAGE (Block / File / Object / SyncMirror), BACKUP (Virtual / Disk / Tape), and RECOVERY
• ITIL knowledge and product certifications are an advantage (e.g., NCDA, NCSIE, NCTA, and MetroCluster)
• Fluent English and German skills, both spoken and written
