For our client, a leading party in EPC, we are seeking a Contract Specialist with advanced technical expertise and strategic acumen to join the team. Reporting to the Team Leader, a (Senior) Contract Manager and the Contract Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in post-award contract administration, contributing to the development of new technologies and value chains. Responsibilities Negotiate contract terms and review technical scopes of work. Lead the internal development of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and final negotiations, such as : Conducting a contractor resource survey. Prequalification of bidders. Creating the Master Bid List for approval by the client. Creating, maintaining, retrieving and transmitting records, reports or documents as part of general contract administration. Creating and maintaining contract files. Analyze commercial portions of proposals and prepare contract recommendations and present the team's recommendation to project management and / or client. Conduct pre-award activities including contractor resource surveys and bidder prequalification. Skills / Qualifications Professional experience in contract management and procurement for engineering and construction projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments. Proactive problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Fluent in written and spoken German, with proficiency in English. Experienced in working with German contracts and with GE project partners. Demonstrated understanding of systems, processes, and tools in the field. Track record of preparing Statements of Work (SoW) and construction contract packages.
