A well-established international manufacturing company is currently seeking an experienced and committed Plant Director to take on a key leadership role in its operations in Southern Germany.Responsibilities:Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followedDevelop processes to increase productivity and enhance performanceManage the operation and maintenance of plant equipmentEnsure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards, including health and safetyEstablish plant policies and proceduresReview and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problemsCoordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective mannerImplement cost control programsMonitor and reduce production costsDevelop and implement plans for the efficient use of materials, machines, and staffEstablish and maintain a positive and productive culture within the plantWork closely with upper management to set and achieve company-wide goalsEnsure the plant meets production and quality goalsEngage in proactive and reactive problem-solving to resolve issues affecting production, quality, and cost.Requirements:Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field10+ years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing managementProven track record of successful plant management in a high-volume manufacturing environment (JIS is a must)Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plantsExperience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologiesExceptional leadership and team-building skillsAbility to develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectivenessExcellent problem-solving skillsProficient in using ERP systems and production management softwareExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets (full P&L responsibility). #J-18808-Ljbffr
