As our new Sustainability Expert in the Water Access and Sustainability team your responsibility will be todrive the delivery of a Centre of Excellence for Sustainability. You will joina global team overseeing the development and execution of our strategy to provide water to 300 million people and meet our carbon emission and water sustainability targets by 2030 and beyond.With expert input you will develop best practices and resources to support the Water Utility Divisionu2019s climate, water, and overall sustainability goals.Moreover, you will: Advice the organisation on issues of sustainability, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), CDP reporting requirements and compliance, but also on challenges and solutions. Develop a knowledge management strategy and platform to empower the organisation to understand and drive sustainability to achieve carbon and water targets while also growing revenue. Execute the sustainability strategy within the Water Utility Division and facilitate sustainable innovation and products and services aligned with the Corporate Group Sustainability Strategy. With support, develop division sustainability targets based on forecasted sales and integrate the sustainability agenda into the division organization. Undertake sustainability impact assessments for innovation ideas and help define new business models. Collaborate closely with Corporate Group Sustainability and functional areas to embed sustainability into market development programs and open opportunities for business growth. Drive external communication and engagement with division opinion-makers and other relevant stakeholders. Support the Division CEO and leadership team on sustainability initiatives, making an impact on climate and water for customers in collaboration with the marketing and communications team. Your background We imagine that you: Have a masteru2019s degree in relevant field(e.g., corporate sustainability, business). Have 5 u2013 10 years of experience in integrating sustainability strategies in a corporate environment in the water utility &/ groundwater irrigation sectors. Previous have worked in a sustainability role in a larger company. Havestrong communication skills and development of knowledge sharing platform.
