As a Category Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) - Plastics you will report to Category Sourcing Director in the Sourcing department based in Blieskastel (Germany), Obernai (France), Kórnik, Tychy or Bierun (Poland) for a permanent contract.

As Category Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) for Plastics, you will shape global sourcing strategies, lead international teams, and build strong partnerships that make a measurable impact on our business worldwide.
Your role
1. Own and drive the global sourcing strategy for the plastics category (plastics, chemicals, PVC), aligned with our business and sustainability ambitions
2. Lead, coach, and develop an international sourcing organization, empowering teams to perform and grow
3. Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships, acting as a trusted interface and negotiation lead.
4. Collaborate closely with global stakeholders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and R&D to unlock value and competitive advantage.
5. Drive cost, performance, and risk management initiatives across the global supply base
6. Anticipate market developments and translate insights into resilient, future-oriented sourcing decisions
What you bring
7. A degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
8. Solid experience in category sourcing or strategic procurement within an international environment
9. A strong leadership mindset and experience in leading teams within complex, global organizations
10. Strategic thinking, negotiation strength, and the ability to influence at all levels
11. Excellent communication skills in English, additional languages are an advantage
12. A structured, analytical, and solution-driven approach
13. Willingness to travel within Europe
