Are you HTEC’s new Solution Architect in Germany, a forward-thinking professional that bridges technology, business, and innovation? In this role, you’ll help define how ideas become solutions: combining technical understanding with strategic insight to guide clients toward future products and competitive distinctiveness.

You will partner with Sales Leaders to generate revenue through technical ownership of opportunity pursuits throughout the sales process. You will present and demonstrate our solutions to diverse audiences, build trusted relationships, and address technical objections throughout the entire sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

* Leads as technical product owner of our opportunity pursuits throughout the sales process orchestrating our engineers, and working closely with partners and customers
* Owns our technical, yet business focused communication and presentation towards clients and partners shaping our engineering services/solutions across sales cycles
* Translates client challenges into clear, feasible, and differentiated technical solutions
* Leads discovery workshops and architecture reviews with client execs & technical staff
* Crafts proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and solution blueprints to showcase business value and demonstrate technical feasibility.
* Facilitate design of proven solution architectures across cloud, data, enterprise systems
* Guide creation of client-facing showcases like PoCs and demos during all sales cycles
* Collaborates closely with Sales, Engineering and Delivery teams to shape and qualify opportunities along the HTEC sales cycle and ensures technical sales orchestration is operated for maximum efficiency and impact
* Maintains strong relationships with customer CIOs/CTOs, understands their priorities and success indicators across all sales stages and applies clear communication
* Identifies new opportunities within existing clients and supports go-to-market success


Required Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience in a technology-driven, client-facing role (e.g., solutioning, pre-sales, consulting, or architecture)
* Experience in designing and/or operating successful tech-centric industry solutions
* Demonstrates a clear spike in one or more key solution areas, especially AI & Data, Embedded Software, Robotics, Edge Computing or surprise us with your own focus
* Conversational in AI fundamentals such as ML, GenAI, LLM, and agentic frameworks
* Understanding of modern architectural practices: microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, ML development, DevOps, and cloud-native design.
* Familiarity in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Ability to translate technology into business value and articulate ROI and TCO impacts.
* Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
* Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and simplifying complexity
* Native German speaker and fluent in English


Nice to Have

* Experience in technical (pre‑sales) in software and/or technology companies or solution definition roles in industrial environments.
* Familiarity with industry-specific solutions especially in industrial, automotive, or healthcare (especially medical devices and/or med/lab tech).
* Understanding of agile delivery and value-based selling principles.
* Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, or TOGAF.
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
