Role Description
Loftware’s Sr. Director of Sales, Industrials and CPG (EMEA) manages a team of Sr. Level, Field Sales Reps, responsible for managing and growing Loftware’s enterprise level customer set in the Industrial Manufacturing and CPG market. These segments include Automotive, Electronics, Chemical, Retail, and Consumer Packaged Goods in the EMEA region. Additionally, the Sr. Director of Sales is responsible for mentoring Inside Sales Representatives in the EMEA region. The Director provides industry and opportunity management guidance to sales, presales, services, marketing, and product management teams, and offers industry trends and research to the executive team for strategic input. Initiatives may include thought leadership, internet programs, industry events, and more.
This position offers a unique opportunity to influence and lead strategic initiatives across various company functions.
Responsibilities
1. Manage, develop, and expand a team of Sr. Account Executives according to hiring plans.
2. Promote from within by developing team members to step into Account Executive roles when opportunities arise.
3. Manage, train, and mentor Inside Sales Representatives.
4. Implement new processes, tools, communications, training, and methodologies to ensure success and achieve organizational goals.
5. Mentor team members and utilize solution and value-based sales methodologies to close enterprise license revenue and support professional services engagements.
6. Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
7. Support sales strategy and processes with strategic partners.
8. Achieve quarterly sales quotas within the designated region and market.
9. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Development to increase awareness and generate leads.
10. Represent Loftware professionally in all interactions.
11. Set an example in work ethic, teamwork, and enthusiasm for company success.
Required Qualifications
* 8-10 years of experience with a successful track record of growing sales teams and increasing revenue quickly.
* Experience with supply chain software solutions.
* Experience working within ERP vendor ecosystems selling third-party supply chain solutions.
* Knowledge of ERP and Supply Chain markets in Loftware’s key verticals.
* Experience selling into Oracle and/or SAP Supply Chain ecosystems.
* Knowledge of warehouse management and/or production control solutions.
* Proven success in high-growth, mid-sized software organizations.
* Experience penetrating multiple vertical markets, including Food & Beverage, Manufacturing/CPG, Electronics, Retail, and large enterprise accounts, with a history of expanding major accounts.
* Skilled at navigating and selling to multiple roles and levels within enterprises.
Soft Skills
* Leadership, diplomacy, and motivation skills, capable of leading across multiple teams and regions.
* Ability to work effectively with virtual teams, including Value Advisory Services, Marketing, Solution Engineers, and Professional Services.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities and timelines.
* Additional language skills, especially German, are desirable.
