We are looking for a Business Development Manager for Europe, based in Germany, who wants to drive commercial growth across Europe. In this strategic role, you will combine hands-on sales with building strong customer relationships and developing new business opportunities in sectors such as construction, logistics, and manufacturing.
You will be responsible for shaping the company's go-to-market strategy, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in sectors such as construction, logistics, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial sales, a passion for sustainability, and a hands-on approach to business development.
Key Responsibilities
 * Implement the commercial strategy accross Europe, tailoring it to local market dynamics. Maintain a strong presence in the field to identify leads and close deals, ensuring maximised growth and profitability.
 * Contribute to strategic planning by helping define the commercial strategy and develop a differentiated, market-relevant customer value proposition.
 * Identify and analyse market trends such as sustainability and operational efficiency. Support customers in leveraging these trends to enhance their competitive positioning, strengthening role as a strategic partner.
 * Develop and execute segment-specific sales action plans aligned with global objectives, using a hands-on approach to drive effective market penetration.
 * Build and nurture strong client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor, fostering long-term, profitable partnerships.
 * Monitor market performance, including market share, competitor activities, and total addressable market. Provide insights into pricing and market positioning to support informed decision-making.
 * Deliver consistent and accurate sales forecasts to ensure visibility and control over the commercial pipeline.
 * Promote and deliver technical solutions, contribute to product and service improvements, and manage contract renewals to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity.
Knowledge & Experience
 * Proven B2B experience, ideally across Construction, Logistics & Supply Chain, Automotive, Retail, and Home & Garden sectors.
 * Comprehensive understanding of plastic processing and the broader value chain.
 * Strong capability in value-based selling and delivering tailored technical solutions.
Education:
Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Chemical), ideally with relevance to the plastics sector.
Professional Experience:
 * 5–10 years of commercial experience within industrial environments.
 * Experience within the plastic resins and moulding industry, particularly injection moulding.
Languages:
Proficiency in German and fluency in English are essential.
Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel extensively accross Europe (minimum 50% of the time), with flexibility to increase travel as needed to secure business and foster client relationships.
