We are seeking a motivated and analytically minded Computational Scientist to join our Biomarker Development team. The role is ideal for an early-career scientist with a PhD in Life Sciences, Biology, or a related field—for candidates with strong hands-on experience in data collection and analysis in biological, translational, or clinical research settings.
You will contribute to the exploration and analysis of translational and clinical biomarker datasets, helping to uncover new insights that guide our biomarker strategies and drug development programs.
Key Responsibilities: Perform exploratory analyses of translational and clinical biomarker data from internal studies and public datasets. Apply statistical and computational methods to evaluate biological data. Visualize and interpret data to support biomarker hypotheses and scientific decision-making. Contribute to presentation materials and documentation for internal and external audiences. Support competitive landscape analyses and data-driven evaluations of biomarkers or disease mechanisms in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Maintain an understanding of biological questions relevant to drug development in oncology.
Qualifications: PhD in Life Sciences, Biology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field. Strong experience in analyzing biomarker and/or biological datasets in a scientific and/or clinical context Strong proficiency in R and Python for data analysis and visualization. Strong interest in data interpretation, visualization, and communication of results. Interest in exploring and interpreting biological data of varying scope and complexity. Good understanding of scientific principles relevant to biomarker discovery and development. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively in cross-functional, international teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with oncology, or clinical trial data preferred but not required. Experience with data integration, public biomarker databases, or open-source omics resources. Experience with additional data analysis tools or platforms Exposure to Regulatory or GxP environments
