Product Teams at GROPYUS own what they build, including underlying infrastructure, build pipelines, automated testing, release and rollout management, monitoring, and support. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for integrating and coordinating the PLC, Robot and 3 rd -party systems which manufacture wall and slab elements. You will write software – both alone as well as in pair with your team colleagues, ensure functionality with a solid testing approach and deploy and rollout changes to the live systems. Furthermore, our teams are also responsible for operating and troubleshooting the software they have developed during working hours of the factory.
As a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) on the Product Delivery team, you will be responsible for:
~ Designing, building, testing and operating software solutions for logistics and manufacturing use cases incl. Working in a hybrid infrastructure environment (cloud and on-prem), managing complex software deployments at scale
~ Bringing a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset to monitor, maintain, and improve software uptime including reliable updates, latency, and efficiency
~ You are an experienced software engineer– preferably with a background in manufacturing or logistics systems, Site Reliability Engineering or software system operations
You possess practical experience in some / all key areas of modern software development, including infrastructure, observability, testing, deployment pipelines incl. You have operated and supported large-scale software systems in cloud and non-cloud environments (on-premise)
You have worked in companies with strong operational cultures, ideally in logistics or manufacturing – understanding the commercial impact of system downtime
Linux
Python / Bash is a plus
Experience with Azure is a bonus
You are willing to travel to our manufacturing site in Richen whenever needed and within Germany and Austria for in-person team events
