Job description and requirements
1. Developing and optimization of business management systems, as well as specifying guidelines
2. guidelines, premises, general framework data and schedules for the budget and monthly forecast of the companies (including the central departments).
3. Coordinating the process of monthly reporting, annual business planning and the annual financial statements of all companies in the area of responsibility.
4. Analyse, prepare and carry out validations of the monthly reporting.
5. Contribute to holistic management by implementing and carrying out the reporting of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow figures etc.
6. Ensuring reporting to internal and external interfaces.
7. Carrying out performance reviews and deviation analyses by means of target/actual comparisons, interpreting the results and evaluating alternative decisions as well as developing proposals for necessary corrective measures in consultation with the line manager.
8. Supporting customer profitability analysis activities.
9. Checking investment and external procurement orders regarding their impact on the area of responsibility.
10. Collaboration in the development and introduction of an information system suitable for planning and control tasks as well as in fundamental business management issues and developments.
11. Supporting and advising central/decentralized clients and management in solving financial, controlling and tax-specific issues.
12. Collaboration in or management of projects within the scope of the assigned area of responsibility, also at the company's national and international locations.
13. Undertake other appropriate activities as directed by the supervisor.
Required job qualifications for this position are:
* *Degree in economics or academic equivalent
* Several years of professional experience in a corresponding field of activity
* Knowledge of task-related work processes, rules and guidelines
* Knowledge of workplace-related IT application systems
* *Fluent in written and spoken German and English
* Ability to work in a team and assertiveness
* Planning, coordination and disposition skills, structured way of working
* Commitment, ability to work under pressure and flexibility
* Confident manner and very good communication skills
* Willingness to travel and intercultural competence
