As an international competence center, we develop, manufacture, and test high tech control systems for complex production facilities used at depths of up to 3,000 meters for offshore oil and gas extraction. Mission
The Intern assists the the Category Manager and is responsible for supporting strategic sourcing for assigned portfolio. Supporting in implementing sourcing plans, market analysis and tactics to maximize supplier performance, including costs, quality and lead time in support of the business plan.

• Participating in developing and implementing medium- and long-term sourcing strategies with the goal of assuring quality and delivery performance while minimizing total cost of ownership.
• Consolidating needs including key portfolio figures, need types and internal constraints.
• Supporting in performing upstream market analysis such as key characteristics and trends.
• Assessing risks and identify mitigation plans related to the category portfolio.
• Participating in the evaluation of current and prospective suppliers. Define the short list of preferred suppliers for each category and sub-category assigned.
• Helping with implementing sourcing plans up to supplier, process and part qualifications; monitor compliance with the sourcing strategy.
• Involvement in performing spend data analysis, supplier market analysis, risk analysis and cost structure assessment.
• Generating a common analysis methodology for all the main and sub category suppliers
• In turn develop a dashboard which will fetch the real-time data for the selected supplier/s
• Develop a Risk-O matrix for the suppliers

• Advanced studies in business administration, economics, or a comparable field of study.
• Strong interest in gaining exciting initial work experience in category management within a dynamic environment.
• High level of commitment combined with an independent and solution-oriented working style.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Good communication skills and enthusiasm for new challenges.
• Very good command of English.
