Job Title: Procurement Manager

My client a specialist medical technology company currently has a requirement for a talented Procurement Manager to join on a permanent basis. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of procurement, engineering, and business leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Take a leading role in strategic procurement initiatives aligned with business and technology roadmaps
* Own supplier performance and relationships, including contract negotiations and long-term value creation plans
* Develop and evolve a preferred supplier network to support innovation, scalability, and resilience
* Integrate suppliers into new product development and industrialization programs in line with category strategies
* Act as a senior escalation point for supply-related challenges across cost, quality, and delivery
* Deliver measurable outcomes in cost optimization, working capital improvement, and supply chain risk reduction
* Drive cross-functional sourcing projects, covering:
* Supply market analysis and opportunity identification
* Business requirement definition and supplier selection
* Risk assessment, mitigation planning, and contract execution
* Governance, reporting, and stakeholder alignment
Required Experience & Skills
* Proven experience managing complex procurement or sourcing projects in an international environment
* Strong project leadership capabilities with structured planning and execution skills
* Confident communicator in German and English, both written and spoken
* Advanced negotiation skills with a strong grasp of cost drivers and supplier economics
* Ability to influence across functions and seniority levels
* Track record of delivering procurement initiatives with tangible business results
* Experience or strong interest in electro-mechanical components, automation, or robotics markets is a strong advantage
