Strong organisational skills and a genuine interest in the maritime industry are essential.Your ResponsibilitiesSupport in complying with and implementing international regulations and customer requirements You assist our team in implementing and ensuring compliance with international legislation and customer requirements in the areas of quality, safety and environmental protection (ISM, ISPS, MLC, SOLAS, MARPOL, vettings, etc.). In this context, you update or create risk assessments.Preparation and support of office audits You support the team in preparing for office audits and provide assistance during the audit process.Planning, preparation and support of vetting inspections You plan and conduct vetting preparations both ashore and on board. If required, you may be on board during vetting inspections to support the crew with your expertise or provide guidance from shore.Internal audits You conduct internal navigation audits on board, as well as internal audits according to ISM, ISPS and MLC, and are responsible for documentation and follow-up.Determination of corrective actions After audits/vettings, you perform root cause analyses and define corrective and preventive actions accordingly.System and database management You transfer the results of vettings and audits into our reporting software and ensure meticulous follow-up and close-out of findings/deficiencies. Detailed handling is crucial to minimise legal risks and ensure customer satisfaction.Response to customer inquiries Together with our team, you are responsible for responding to customer questions and screening requests to ensure the deployment of the vessels.Management and improvement of our safety and quality management system You support continuous improvement of our safety and quality management system and contribute your own ideas.Management and coordination of regular vessel reporting You monitor and track regular reporting from the vessels to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.Crew training You regularly conduct training sessions with the crew—either on board or remotely—to keep knowledge and know-how up to date, inform about changes, and provide new crew members with an overview of our structure and management system.On-call duty You participate in on-call duty outside office hours on a rotational basis.
