Your tasks
8. Performing analytical and numerical calculations on strength, shock and vibrations
9. Design of systems with elastic bearings
10. Preparation of evidence in the form of a report
11. Evaluation of evidence from external service providers and suppliers
12. Coordination of requirements with stakeholders from projects and suppliers
13. Preparation of test specifications and other documents for conducting experimental proofs of shock resistance
14. Managing document management and approval processes
15. Clarifying interfaces with other specialist groups/departments from design and manufacturing
16. Technical clarification, coordination and agreement with suppliers, testing authorities and customer representatives
Your profile
17. Completed diploma or master's degree in mechanical engineering, naval architecture, civil engineering or similar fields.
18. Experience in shipbuilding, naval shipbuilding or defense technology is desirable.
19. Professional experience as a calculation engineer is desirable
20. Solid knowledge in the fields of technical mechanics and dynamics
21. Experience in the application of calculation rules and classification regulations
22. Experience with at least one FEM application (ideally Ansys or HyperWorks) and in rigid body simulation (ideally Simpack)
23. Safe handling of Siemens Teamcenter and Office applications
24. Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
