What you´ll do
* Fulfill all duties defined under §6 of the German Occupational Safety Act (ASiG) as a certified occupational safety specialist
* Advise responsible personnel on the planning and construction of production facilities, technical systems, and work processes, as well as on the procurement of technical equipment, hazardous substances, protective devices, and the selection and testing of personal protective equipment
* Identify deficiencies and areas for improvement in occupational safety and actively promote enhancements
* Provide recommendations for the design of work equipment, workplaces, and the working environment, including ergonomic considerations
* Conduct risk assessments by participating in planning, construction, and commissioning phases, as well as during site inspections and accident investigations
* Deliver safety instructions, training sessions, and seminars on occupational health and safety topics in both German and English
* Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
* Support company supervisors in implementing new occupational safety regulations

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in safety engineering or a scientific/technical field
* Certified occupational safety specialist
* Strong negotiation skills
* Distinct ability to handle conflicts and reach compromises, combined with a solution-oriented working style
* Team player with a high degree of independence and service orientation
* Fluent in English and German
