Job Description
My client, a global end customer are currently recruiting for a Head of SAP to come in and spearhead the current IT transformation of their current SAP system towards S/4 HANA globally.
Your role will be to run the entire SAP operations from managing the current Team Leaders, assist in the growth of the SAP Team to responding to the constant flows of business/change requests. As the “head of the table”, you will need to bring credibility and challenge-mentality with your knowledge in SAP in front of C-level management as well as bringing confidence in driving the change needed for the complex upcoming project.
You will need to motivate, support and inspire the SAP Teams across 4 countries and 2 continents as well as have the ability to connect with the Stakeholders and other IT Managers and Leaders within the business. This role will be a hybrid position based in Hannover, with the minimum expectation of 2/3 days per week office based.
Some of the other responsibilities will include:
Recruitment, Team & Line Management:
* Provide team members the guidance and support they need to deliver programs successfully by serving as mentors and coaches.
* Oversee and direct a multinational of over 15 professionals in an IT team that consists of Consultants, Developers, Team Leads, Project Managers, Key Users, Business Analysts, both internally and externally, onshore, nearshore and offshore
* Maintain stakeholder relations while making sure business and IT leaders communicate and work together effectively
* Work with established partners in creating a pipeline of potential professionals, in anticipation of future requirements both internal and external
S/4 HANA Program:
* Oversee the global business units' adoption, modernisation and optimisation of SAP ERP system
* Create and carry out a strategic plan for the worldwide IT initiative, making sure that it is in line with company goals
* Consult with Key Stakeholders up to an executive level to align and ensure the alignment of the overall business strategy regarding S/4 HANA
* Verify that the ERP systems are set up to satisfy particular operational, business, and regulatory requirements
* Lead and oversee multidisciplinary teams to ensure program effectiveness in various geographical areas
* Take the lead in system enhancements, upgrades, and continuous SAP maintenance
* Oversee international IT projects with an emphasis on risk management and regional compliance,
* Lead by example in terms of program governance, techniques, and best practices
Financial Budgeting:
* Create and oversee program budgets, making sure that all financial goals are satisfied and that projects are completed on schedule and within the allotted budget
* Lead efforts for continual improvement to raise the efficacy and efficiency of SAP program delivery
* Track, observe, and document program performance, making sure that benchmarks and KPIs are met
