Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Senior Engineer and Process Manager to specialize in the design and startup of processes related to rare-earth elements (REEs) and Nd magnetics. This hybrid site role, based in Frankfurt, involves leading the engineering and implementation of complex processes design, engineering full life cycle of NdFeB sintered magnetic Greenfield plant. Furthermore, tge professional will be keading and optimizing efficiency, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. Key responsibilities include process design, supervision of operational startups, cross-functional collaboration, troubleshooting, and continual process improvement. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, designers team and contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
Qualifications
* Process Design and Process Management expertise, with a strong understanding of rare-earth elements (REEs) and Nd magnetic technologies
* Experience with Engineering Design, Process Optimization, and Startup Operations in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Skills in Problem-Solving, Root Cause Analysis, and Decision-Making in technical contexts
* Strong Project Management and Team Leadership capabilities
* Proficiency in relevant Engineering Software and Tools
* Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills
* Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
* Experience in the production or development of magnetic materials or rare-earth elements is highly desirable
