Your tasks
* Responsible for performing all commissioning activities for the assigned systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the equipment as specified
* Preparation of testing procedures and test programs for the Control & Protection Hardware, including the necessary verification documents
* Execution and documentation of Functional and Dynamic Performance Tests including customer acceptance ensuring proper energization and protection
* Technically flawless commissioning of HVDC systems on site in due time, including testing of associated HV primary equipment
* Support the commissioning manager in Quality, risk and claim management
Your qualifications
* Degree in Electrical or engineering, Energy engineering or comparable technical education
* Knowledge of Open Loop Control and AC protection relays for HVDC system architecture
* Experience with commissioning of power systems and equipment, including parametrization and testing of Protection Relays
* Proficient in using protection and control tools e.g. DIGSI for Siprotec 4/5, as well as related test equipment
* Able to travel internationally; fluent in written and spoken English
* German language skills are an advantage
* Some positions require willingness for offshore locations, resp certifications according to GWO standards: Survival at Sea, Working at Height, HUET, ...
