Head of Brand Management Champagnes (m/w/d)

Your Mission
The mission of this role is to develop and drive our Champagne portfolio, maximizing brand awareness, desirability, and delivering against business objectives in Germany. The Head of Brand Management Champagnes is in charge of developing and implementing the marketing strategy across the entire marketing mix to build volume, revenue, market share and profitability within the company and brand guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
Marketing / Strategy
* Lead long- and short-term brand vision and strategies for Germany, developing annual brand plans and PMT/5-year plans in accordance with brand, sales and financial targets and in line with global strategies. Ensure synchronized 360° multi-channel planning in coordination with the overall MH portfolio.
* Work across functional teams to develop brand equity for each brand in the Champagne portfolio (Premium and Prestige).
* Facilitate communication and maintain a high share of voice for the Champagne brands in all cross-department meetings/projects, specifically towards the global Maison team.
* Validate brand budgets, allocating spend to appropriate activations and ensuring effective evaluation of activity to achieve the expected return on investment.
* Demonstrate knowledge of culture and trends, connecting brands relevantly.
Commercial / Trade Marketing
* Act as a brand champion, responsible for communication and custodianship of brand strategies internally, and influence the commercial agenda of the brand in line with brand objectives.
* Identify new business opportunities and new accounts where strong brand presence and activation are crucial. Propose and implement programs for new business development.
* Work closely with the Channel and Trade Marketing Managers to develop and evaluate trade-focused programs, particularly in High Image Accounts/Flagships.
* Validate and coordinate the allocation of the rarest creations to drive growth across channels.
Team
* Provide inspiring leadership to the Champagne Brand Teams.
* Reinforce innovation and creativity within the team: take initiatives to propose and implement new ideas for brand activation and consumer recruitment.
* Manage Brand Managers, providing clear direction and taking responsibility for their development, giving coaching support and guidance where necessary to enable them to achieve goals.
* Be the main point of contact for all key projects related to the Champagne portfolio with the German Management Team, Moet Hennessy Europe and the central teams/ “Maisons”.
Communication / Events
* Be responsible for the overall development and realization, supervision, and control of media campaigns.
* Facilitate cooperation with the PR & Communication team to execute inspirational and engaging PR strategies.
* Guide the Brand Managers in the briefing process with creative/production agencies. Oversee execution and results.
* Maintain a high level of executional excellence for all projects across the portfolio.
Other Responsibilities
* Take direct responsibility for budgetary control of brands with monthly reporting.
* Prepare all required reports and business reviews.
* Work with the finance/controlling teams to agree on forecasts and allocations.
* Work closely with the customer service team and logistics.
* Oversee POSM orders and usage, including regular strategic reviews of inventory.
* Regularly spend time in trade and keep up to date with competitor activity across the marketing mix.
Profile
* Munich residency: This position is based in our Munich office and requires a high degree of on-site presence to effectively lead the Champagne portfolio strategy and collaborate with key internal teams.
* Education: Degree level.
* Professional experience & know-how: Strong luxury marketing background with previous experience in the luxury/drink industry is a plus. Strong brand management experience (minimum 10 years).
* Languages: German & English fluent, French a plus.
