To strengthen the team at the company either at their headquarter in Uhldingen (Lake Constance, Friedrichshafen) or from the home office (with occasional office presence) we are currently looking for a full/- or part-time
Security Vulnerability Analyst (m/f/d) Embedded Linux
Your responsibilities:
* Track and assessing vulnerabilities in industrial-grade Linux operating system and the open source components it relies on
* Develop, maintain and apply tooling for automated CVE monitoring, classification and reporting
* Leveraging existing open source solutions
* Collaboration with both the engineering teams and the customers
* Support the assessment and mitigation of security risks in the products
* Assist in selecting additional open-source components
Your profile:
* Proven experience in analyzing vulnerabilities, security management, or related fields
* Solid understanding of Linux systems and open source software ecosystems
* Ability to read and assess code for security impact across a variety of programming languages
* Previous open source contributions, especially in the security area - please include them in your application
* Familiarity with industrial automation, IEC62443, CRA or embedded systems (not mandatory)
* A systematic and reliable work habit to ensure continuous monitoring and consistent evaluation of CVEs
* Clear communication skills in English, German an added advantage
