Are you are SAP professional with a passion for revenue recognition and financial transformation? Join our team as an Functional Analyst SAP - Revenue Accounting & Reporting (f/m/d) and help shape the future of Finance IT.
Your responsibilities:
1. Lead end-to-end SAP RAR implementations, ensuring full compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606.
2. Architect and configure RAR components including Performance Obligations, Fulfillment Events, Revenue Schedules, RAIs, and Transaction Price Allocations.
3. Integrate RAR seamlessly with SAP FI and SD modules for accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.
4. Provide expert-level consulting on SSP, transaction price allocation, revenue amortization, and lifecycle calculations of RAIs.
5. Analyze and optimize revenue recognition processes, identifying automation opportunities and implementing best practices.
6. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable SAP RAR solutions.
7. Utilize SAP BRF+ and other advanced SAP technologies to enhance rule-based automation and decision logic.
8. Lead functional discussions with key users and stakeholders, translating business needs into technical specifications.
9. Manage support activities including incident resolution, change requests, and enhancements.
10. Conduct root cause analysis, propose solutions, and ensure smooth deployment aligned with client governance.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments, ensuring transparency, risk management, and timely delivery.
12. Mentor junior consultants, foster knowledge sharing, and contribute to team capability building.
13. Lead functional discussions, facilitate workshops, and support team alignment with business goals.
Your profile:
14. 10+ years of SAP experience, including 5+ years specializing in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
15. Demonstrated expertise in implementing and optimizing RAR solutions aligned with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 standards.
16. Proven ability to lead complex projects, drive innovation, and deliver measurable business outcomes in Finance IT environments.
17. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
18. Experience in Banking/Financial Services preferred.
